1. Information We Collect
SnapPoll only requests the minimum Slack OAuth scopes necessary to function: posting poll messages, registering slash commands, and handling interactive button clicks. We do not read channel message history, private messages, or unassociated conversation content.
2. Cryptographic Hashing of Anonymous Votes
For polls created with the anonymous voting flag enabled, voter Slack user IDs are salted per poll and one-way hashed using HMAC-SHA256 before write operations. The original voter identity is discarded immediately from memory and cannot be recovered by poll creators, workspace administrators, or SnapPoll operators.
3. Data Retention and Security
Slack bot tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your workspace data. You may request deletion of all workspace polls and records at any time by uninstalling the app or contacting support via App Home.
